Choosing a Forex Broker That Wont Rip You Off

At the best of times Forex currency trading can be a risky business with a huge potential for profit or loss. As a fulltime trader i have seen the best and the worst that the forex market has to offer, the dizzying highs of large wins, and the gut wrenching lows of people going bust.

You might be a forex trader yourself, or maybe you are just curious about how forex markets work, whomever you are, you need to learn how to seperate the legit forex brokers from the scam merchants. The internet has a great deal of genuine forex dealers offering quality services, it is also unfortunately infected with just as many thieves dressed up as companies who will gladly take your money and then dissapear. This fear of being taken advantage of puts a lot of people off the idea of trading forex, this shouldn't be the case.

Now there are a few key differences between stock markets and forex markets that you are going to have to learn:

1. Forex has no centralised exchange house.

2. Forex trading is 24/7.

3. Forex is a largely unregulated market.

Looking at that list, it kind of seems that the forex market is akin to a wild west town full of outlaws and gunslingers. In this market there is noone to complain to, noone who will hold your hand. So how can you find the genuine dealers amid all the garbage? Do not trust any broker whose reputation cannot be confirmed, and whose company is not tied to the forex market.

The attraction of the forex market can be overwhelming. The scent of huge profits often overpower the common sense of the average person. They enter eagerly, just waiting to invest their life savings.Lying in wait are the scammers with huge promises, they capture the new investors money, and suddenly dissapear.

The good news is, is that many genuine forex brokers do actually exist. Easy-Forex, Oanda, and many more have proven track records that justify their positions in the market. Usually if a company is small, has no affiliation to forex or a financial institution, then stay away. Also a word on looking for reviews about brokers online. You can find honest reviews on forex brokers online, however there seems to be a habit of late of competing forex companies, and/or traders engaging in negative marketing of each other. Dig deeper and you will usually find an honest answer.

So remember:

1. Validate the companies reputation.

2. Make sure they are tied to the forex legitimatly.

3. If the company is small and unheard of, stay away.

4. Finally if the broker has a proven online track record, a legitimate financial institution affiliation, and a few good reviews, give them a try.

My ultimate advice is, if unsure, invest the smallest amount you can, and find out for yourself. This is how i usually used to find brokers, and it worked for me.

The Hand Is The Map Of Soul

If one can claim that the eyes are the windows to the soul, then in the same way, the hand is the map of the soul.

The art of reading palms probably began centuries ago in India. Through the ages, palmistry spread throughout the world, and is common in many cultures. The notion that one's temperament and one's fate can be revealed through the hand resonates in a way that transcends the boundaries of time and place.

In many ways, Palmistry in Western cultures aligns very closely with the concepts of the Zodiac, based on Ancient Greek mythology. The shape of the hand and fingers, lines and mounds of the palm are described in terms that are very similar to the horoscope. The elements, the stars and planets, and the gods of mythology are linked to each part of the hand, and indicate particular characteristics.

A person's dominant hand is typically read to assess the most prominent influences on one's character. Experienced readers will also examine the other hand, for this will provide insights as well. In some cases, the non-dominant hand will reveal influences from one's past lives.

Palm Reading - The Elements

The shape of the hand determine its relationship to the elements:

Earth
Broad and square, palm length and finger length nearly equal. Coarse and ruddy skin texture.

Air
Square palms, with the palm shorter than the long fingers. Prominent knuckles and low thumbs. Skin texture can be very dry.

Water
Oval palm, long, conical fingers. The palm is longer than wide, but the length of the palm and the length of the fingers is nearly equal.

Fire
Square palm, with fingers shorter than the length of the palm, with pink skin tones.

Lines of the Hands
The major hand lines are the Head Line, the Heart Line and the Life Line. These are generally the most prominent lines, traveling mostly horizontally across the palm. They represent the basic characteristics of a person: the state of one's mind - Head, one's emotions - Heart and one's physical well-being - Life.

Other lines are usually apparent on the hand. A skillful reader will use these lesser lines to develop a more insightful profile of their subject.

The Mounds
The third most distinctive aspect of the palm are the mounds created by the underlying muscles and joints in the hand. Here again we see the relationship to astrology. Each major mound conveys the influence of the moon or planet associated with it. The fingers also reveal the aspects of the planetary influence on the mound directly beneath each finger.

There are also dozens of additional signifiers on the hand that may or may not be present on any one individual's palm. Combinations of lines and shapes, or even the absence of certain lines, are as unique as one's fingerprints. The style of interpretation of the palm varies greatly in different cultures, with different reader's methods or school of thought, and through time.. Certainly, some characteristics associated with behaviors or even mental illnesses have been reformed as we learn more of how the brain functions. A reader needs to be sensitive to many influences in order to accurately interpret the signals and characteristics that are revealed through the palm.

Life Insurance: Regular vs. Accident Insurance

It can get pretty confusing when you're choosing a life insurance policy. There are so many options and extras and if you don't understand which to choose, it can be very confusing to select a policy. One of the most common questions that people come up with is simply to do with the differences between regular and accident life insurance, particularly because they seem to be the same at first glance. However, there are some differences that you should know about before you choose a life insurance policy.

Regular Life Insurance What exactly is covered by regular life insurance varies by policy, so you will want to really check this out when you are talking to the insurance company. There are two main types of policies here, permanent and term. Term insurance will only cover you for a specific time period, usually a year to five years, after which time you will need to renew your insurance. Permanent gives you life-long coverage.

Both types usually cover both death and some medical costs if you are injured or ill. Again, it's important to read the fine print on this. You will need to choose someone to receive the payout should you die while your life insurance is active. Regular life insurance covers a variety of ways that you could pass, including sickness. However, there will be certain options that are ruled out. For example, most life insurance companies will not pay out if a death was ruled a suicide. Most regular policies will exclude certain accidental deaths, as well, which is why you will probably want to look into adding an accidental life insurance policy to your regular one.

Accidental Life Insurance A lot of accidents happen in our lives and on occasion they can cost you a lot of money. Accident insurance usually covers things like medical costs, hospital stays and will reimburse you for lost limbs, eyesight, etc. depending on the policy. Also, if you were to die due to an accident, this type of policy would give your beneficiary a payout. Not all regular insurance does this for accidents.

In cases where an accident leads to death at a later date, such as a car accident where the victim is in a coma for several weeks or months before dying, the policy will have a specific time limit. Many give you 3 months, so if the victim dies four months after the accident, due to related injuries, no payout will be given.

Why Choose Accident Insurance For most people, adding accident insurance to their regular policy just makes sense. It means you are covered no matter what happens and since a large number of deaths and major injuries are caused by accident and not necessarily disease, it makes sense to insure yourself. Having that safety net can be invaluable should something happen and you lose your sight due to an accident, something that regular life insurance wouldn't touch, but accident insurance would offer a payout for.

Insurance is a big deal. You want to be sure you get the right coverage and that you aren't going to regret not opting for the extras later on. Do your research, read the contracts completely before signing and talk to the insurance broker about your options. Make sure you understand everything that is covered and what is not by your specific policy. Sometimes you can customize your policy to create the best possible insurance for you personally, so talk to your agent about this possibility. Life insurance is important and needs to be taken seriously.
